About
Designer, 3D artist & Writer
Yule Wang is a multidisciplinary artist whose work involves digital image making, film installation, writing and print. Starting with her very embodied experiences, try to weave together enigmatic narratives that draw inspiration from both ancient and modern civilizations, fusing fantasy mythology, Chinese folk rituals, classical literature and poetry.
She likes to play with overlapping layers and transparency, exploring the use of skillful rhythms, hormonal bubbles and imagination to construct spiritual spaces of cultural heritage and personal emotions.

“从小我随父母过着一种流浪式的生活，观察生活的千种形态几乎成为我的本能。我着迷于那些不确定的状态，不断消融的、永恒变化的边界并未让我感到无所适从，相反，它刺激着我寻找新的可能。
我喜欢把我对世界的思考和触动我的瞬间用有逻辑的方式体现在视觉表达里。用开放性的、有社会参与的实验生成我的视觉创造，在这个过程中，我不再 “孤立无援” 地呐喊，也不是生硬地塞给观众某种可能，而是用体验的方式好奇地期待着那个我无法掌控的结果。”
